This is a no-win situation for fox. Either they come off as cherry-picking and are quickly fact-checked, or they find nothing that changes what is currently known about the insurrection.
It's a no-lose situation for Fox.
Nobody who watches Fox because they like it cares about cherry picking or fact checking, and that means that nothing changes with their viewership.
If they cared about fact-checking, they wouldn't be watching Fox.
