Are the drivers UniBin?
Universal Binary for the Intel CPU.

Looks like a postscript error. Check the manual and see if there is a specific que name you are supposed to use. On the HPs when printing IP from a Mac you may have to use the BINPS que to get it to work. I had to do this on some 2550 color laserjets.

As an alternative, you could enable appletalk on the printer, it isn't going to hurt the PC users. Then setup the printer again from the Appletalk list and see if that works.

BGnR- not sure if the software was universal binary. This was the only software that was available on the Konica/Minolta web site for Mac OS 10.4. It did not give any other information. C-ris, that is a good idea! I will see if we can find the information about the que. They do have a complete set of manuals. I was worried that enabling AppleTalk might cause problems for the PC users. If we can't find the que information I will see if we can dig into the Konica/Minolta manual and find out how to enable AppleTalk. I sincerely appreciate all of the help! If there are other ideas I am more than willing to try those as well. When it comes to networking I am truly a novice... Dave

BGnR
Check the date of your print driver, but if it is UniBin, it would say so.

Not sure but you may have to install the postscript option to print on a mac. Have him talk to the people that sold him the machine. Part # for the kit is PS-346.

BGnR-if the printer driver is not universal binary will it work with his iMac? b-bender- I will suggest he talk to the Konica/Minolta people too. Thanks again for the help! Dave
