My sister had a pinto in the 80s. Great little car. Didn't explode once.

Interesting sidenote, I have been living in San Francisco for 30 years and I have never seen one on the streets. Seen every other car, but never a Pinto.

Mine had a Pinto wagon (yes) all through college and grad school. In Maine. She told a story of her and a classmate buzzing down logging roads to look for an injured Moose. Because biologists. And all the logging truck drivers shaking their heads at them.

We had one of those. It was nicknamed Red Bottom because of the color scheme.

I don't remember for sure if the rear was red or white but I think it was white with just the bottom being red.
