Lol. Couldn’t have said it better.

Some of my fave covers:

Various: I Am Sam Soundtrack (Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture)
Al Di Meola: All Your Life: A Tribute to the Beatles
Orgnissimo: B3tles: A Soulful Tribute to the Fab Four

It’s OK.
I feel the same about Bob Dylan.

bob is very hit-and-miss.

I only saw him once with a version of the ge smith band and they and he were great.
I'd not take the chance again.

There are way more pop acts out now that I wouldn't hesitate to vacuum the house if they were playing across the street for free.

I saw Dylan twice - first time in the 80s he was horrible. Second time he was opening for Paul Simon - he was awesome.

I saw The Beatles live in 1963. They were great.

I know a number of people, including Frank Zappa, that disliked them because of all the marketing that was everywhere during Beatlemania. Some people disliked the early music because it was too pop-ie, according to them. But if you think of it, there came a time when the Beatles thought their early music was too pop-ie and they didn’t want to continue writing pop songs.

I bet Frank was at least impressed with the vocal harmonies - vocal harmonies was a big deal for frank and the beatles harmonies were so cool.

I would have walked across the country to see him perform with the Traveling Wilburys though.

You must have seen them in Europe somewhere. They didn't get to the U.S. until February of 1964,
