The Catalina looks better as a wagon IMO.

Pretty sure those fender skirts were never stock.

… and the side view mirrors weren’t mounted that far forward coming off the assembly line.

Mom was the family wagon lady, though in 1959 she started w/ a Ford
Country Squire wagon similar to this, only in tan/beige (not green).....



Sadly, it caught fire in the garage, so back it went to the dealer whereupon
it was summarily replaced w/ a white '59 Chevy Impala wagon.




Yeah, no skirts on the family's Copper Catalina,
but the pic was a nice blast from the past.
