Re: Get your vaccines now, before they're all gone - Lemon Drop - 02-13-2025 He won't outlaw vaccines or curb supply. We just won't have an advocate for accurate information or enforcement of vaccine regs in the states. Which is tragic itself. Measles outbreaks in the US are not new. From the CDC: "As of December 31, 2024, a total of 285 measles cases were reported by 33 jurisdictions: Arizona, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York City, New York State, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia." 89% of these cases were in unvaccinated people, mostly young. https://www.cdc.gov/measles/data-research/index.html Re: Get your vaccines now, before they're all gone - JoeH - 02-13-2025 Lemon Drop wrote: Yeah, but if you look at the map of where those cases occurred, most of the states listed had less than 10 cases. Two states had between 50 and 99 cases, Minnesota and Illinois, or about a third of all cases in the US as a whole. Re: Get your vaccines now, before they're all gone - $tevie - 02-13-2025 Well, we are fucked. |
