This thread got me to learn something new today.
I had always remembered the name Gary Gilmore because of his request to be executed by firing squad in the 1970s. And I remembered SNL's "Lets kill Gary Gilmore for Christmas" song.
But the thing that I learned today, was that his last words were "Let's do it", and that was the inspiration for Nike's "Just do it" slogan.
