I think the stores are doing their best to manage egg supply and demand. About 2 1/2 weeks ago a large chicken farm in PA was shutdown and all chickens were killed. Egg prices increased $2.50 per dozen within a few days, but now the price increase has nearly returned to typical.

....guessing that it is like chicken nuggets......which use any extra chicken parts.....
....maybe with liquid eggs, they use eggs that don't quite meet expectations or broken eggs.....???

Hey, add enough seasoning, peppers and onions and it makes a damn good omelet.
The egg white then becomes a neutral medium to get all that to one's mouth.
It reminds me of I guy I knew that used all manner of hot sauces and chili peppers on his lunch.
I asked him if he could still taste the food and he said 'What's taste got to do with it?'
As we're both Tina fans, we had a laugh.
Though he might have been serious.

I don’t think eggs in a carton is new. At Keebler, do you think there are dozens of people cracking thousands of eggs every day to make cookies?
