Since AT&T has said 146,000 were activated during that end of quarter period, that gives a lower bound. What the actual total was, only Apple and possibly AT&T knows. In the conference call, it was clearly and unequivocally stated that iPhone units sold was 270,000. Not that it matters, 150k iPhones in 1.5 days is still a huge number and AAPL is way up. The number I find incredible is the year/year sale of portables. Those are up a whopping 42% over last year.
