I don't have any data, but these kind of senseless murder sprees seem to be happening more and more frequently in the U.S. There are a lot of hurting people out there and a lot of guns - a deadly combination.

Our founding fathers were an eminently reasonable bunch. I suspect they would understand our desire to prevent firearms from getting into the hands of anyone who would commit senseless atrocities against civilians as a tolerable regulation under the 2nd amendment.
Kinda makes you wonder who is defending ol' #2 then. But if you're gonna put this thread on this side of MRF, you gotta know it's gonna get out of hand fast.

If you actually READ what they WROTE, you'd see that they would instead favor putting more arms in the hands of law abiding citizens.
And armed society IS a polite society.

Actually, I think what I said is about as controversial as saying drinking and driving don't mix. However, if I offended anyone I apologize. Perhaps it is the topic itself more than my statement that elicited scrutiny.
As for the remark about bombs, I'll let that stand on its own merits : )
