An Oster Beehive blender. This was the highest rated blender on Consumersearch, but it is SOOOO LOOOOOUUUUD that it literally hurts my ears and has me worried about hearing damage. Ridiculous. It's gotta go! It replaced our 30 year old Waring blender (we broke the jar) that worked just as well but had a reasonable noise level.

The Iowa schools iBook for $200 - has the iBook G4 logic board problem... useless.

Car insurance for my future son in law. He's wrecked three times with our cars now. He's off the insurance, and getting his own. Car and insurance. I did let him borrow a bicycle, though.

I guess I bought a few t-shirts online that ended up either being way too small or way too big. Whatever happened to the days when I simply spec'ed out a L, and they always fit perfectly? Now I've bought Ms that go past my crotch and Ls that barely reach my waist. Consistency in sizing is gone out the window.
Can't really think of any other personal purchases that didn't work out.
