[quote space-time]I don't get it.

I have an old phone with old SIM card in it.
I get a new phone with a new SIM card and a $25 refill card.

I would like to get rid of the NEW SIM card, and keep my old SIM card (with my old phone number, and my remaining minutes) and add $25 to that. I can use that SIM card in either phone. Does that work? or the $25 refill card is good only with the NEW SIM?

BTW: I am not interested din the new activation card at all, I guess that's the initial $10 credit you're talking about on the new SIM, I don''t need that, I want to keep my old sim with my old number.
Get the new phone, put your old SIM into it, add the $25.

FWIW, I got a replacement V195 last month, and needed to activate the phone first before it would work with my old SIM. I activated the new SIM card, promptly used up the balance on ringtones and wallpapers, and then dropped my old SIM in. Works great.

How do you like the V195? the only reason for me to choose it over the Nokia 2610 isthe quad band, which I need when I travel to Europe.

I'm not a phone aficionado, so most features are completely irrelevant to me. I picked the 195 for the simple reason that it has a USB connector. It charged off the same connector I use for my camera, and iSync (with downloaded plugin) had no problems loading it with my address book.

cool, I am glad to hear the V195 works with a hacked iSync. I am gonna order one.
