are you up to date with all of the Office updates? Use the ms autoupdater found in your applications folder to make sure. Keep running it (checking then downloading/installing) until it comes back with no available updates. Maybe there was an updater that fixed the daylight savings issue.

Are you certain she doesn't live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean?

Odd problem. I went from v. X to '08 and have never experienced this issue.

In 2007 the dates on which daylight savings time begins and ends were changed (begins sooner and ends later). Software programmed with the older start and end dates will be "off" by 1 hour during the period between the old and new beginning dates and old and new end dates. Updates dealing with this problem were released last year for most software titles; I'm sure there is one available for Office 2004.

I know that Outlook changes calendar entry times when the time zone is changed on the computer. Problem is that if f**ks everything up, as the times don't go back when the time zone is changed. I've spent countless hours fixing this. I no longer change the time zone on my work laptop when I travel. People will have to live with getting responses timestamped before they sent their email.
