Yesterday, I saw one name brand station in Harrisburg, PA at $3.49, while across the street the no name station was at $4.39

What's wrong with this picture ??

Cripes, you people STILL have a long way to go to catch up to Northern Cali's non-hurricane affected regular prices.

Eighty-seven octane still hovers around the $4 mark here.

Gas prices are up about $.30 so far this week and the local news says to expect prices to continue to rise until the pipelines are at full-capacity again.

I wasn't complaining about the price, but in the price differences between the two stations that were just across the street from each other.

$4.15 for no apparent reason here in the heartland - jumped 40ยข or more overnight

Luckily I filled up my truck Thursday night @ $3.69 so I'm good for a few weeks until this dies down.

I do need to get gas for the mowers but instead of filling it's 5 gallon tank I'll just get a gallon or two.

I bought a tank of diesel for the rental. 65 Euro.

That's the end of my contribution to Total for the year.

$4.25 here just this morning, was $4.15 yesterday. Filled up my tank last Thursday at $3.89... How did I suddenly get 36 cents per gallon richer???

I'm in a Chicago suburb.

Probably lost on most: Total/Fina/Elf Aquitaine....

One station listed the price on their sign at $5.99 in an attempt to discourage people from coming in because their tanks were empty. They got a huge number of complaints about them price gouging.

I wonder if it is it telling that based on what companies are having financial troubles, crude futures are tanking. Were trying to make quick money in the oil market to stave off bankruptcy?
