Agreed. There are some missing pieces.
I don't think this is the first time in history someone has demonstrated reckless financial judgement, got themselves in a jam, and not seen a way out.
I find it beyond bizarre that it's now the fault of "greed on Wall Street."

Nothing unethical about giving an eighty-six year old person a 30 year mortgage. It was an equal opportunity scam.

At what age are you specifically suggesting the cutoff for being eligible for a mortgage be placed?
