Regardless, the exclusivity won't be up until at least June 2010. Re: State of the iPhone - rich in distress - 11-26-2008 So my google fu was not weak... it is such a mess right now... I was hoping to be able to grab an iPhone on black friday sale but nogo... Anyone know what's the deal with http://www.quickpwn.com/ ? And this is what got my cravings again: http://www.balmuda.com/northamerica/laboratory/numberkey/index.html well... Thanks everyone for your responses. Re: State of the iPhone - davester - 11-26-2008 I'm confused. You say you have a cingular sim. Well, cingular IS AT&T so you should be able to activate on your existing network. The only other GSM carrier in the US is T-Mobile and as said above only 1st gen phones will work with it. If you really want to go through this big hassle to use T-Mobile (which has a crappier network than AT&T, then get a 1st gen phone (which will cost you MORE than a 3G phone with AT&T activation. Re: State of the iPhone - rich in distress - 11-27-2008 Hi davester, the thing is, I rather not pay an extra 20 on my att bill, since I am well covered with airports and whatnots. Also, ideally I'd like to use a different sim while in other countries. anyway... Happy Thanksgiving |
