There are plenty of 1ltr and 3ltr 'name brands' (Dr. Pepper, Coke, Pepsi, etc.) right along with the bargain brands in the Midwest.
...as said before, all depends on where you live. There is packaging for everything.

Morningstar Farms reduced the size of their veggie sausage boxes from 8 patties down to 6. Most of the local stores have also increased the price, except Trader Joe's, which dropped the price.

Weigh a Klondike sometime. I weighed one on my Radio Shack scales
one day and it was like 2.3oz yet the wrapper said 4.25oz.

I think that's 4.25 fluid oz. A liquid measure for the ice cream, not a weight.

Then there is the shrinking "quart" of spaghetti sauce. Last I looked it was down to something like 26 oz.
As for a fluid oz., that is a volume. It is only nearly the same as an oz. in weight if the contents is the same density as water. The famous saying of "A pints a pound the world around" holds then as long as you don't use UK measures.

Yes, to the original question. This is highly annoying as it is the same price here as the 12 packs. I think we should all stop buying corn syrup er soda and see how they like them apples.

The true scandal is with Sessions Lager... with their attractive, stubby bottles. However, at 11oz each, your 12-pack only contains the beer of eleven bottles of most other brands.
