So, does this mean that the Chinese will open their currency , or will they stick with their 'internal vs. external' Yuan/ Renminbi model ? Hmmm ?

Methinks the Minister from the Middle Kingdom is speaking from both Yin and Yang.

Sometimes this is referred to as "speaking out of the orifice from which the sun doesn't shine".

Other questions:

The Euro was created not just for financial reasons, but political ones too. China and Russia are currently playing nice, but that could quickly change.

Why would China want a common currency with Russia, a country that is heavily dependent on oil and natural gas sales to support it's economy? Natural gas prices have plummeted too...
