Yeah, I saw that one. I'm real curious how some of these guys get there stash. Whatever, I'm sure it's legit. But still, how're they able to get so much?

I upgraded from a 2G iPhone to a 32gb 3GS for $300
I then unlocked & jailbroke my 2G. Sold it on eBay for $240. I underpriced most sellers and sold it in one day. I wasn't greedy and limited sales to US, Canada, Australia, UK and Germany.
Netted $210 so the new phone cost $90 out of pocket and I think the increase in the monthly fee is well worth it.

Yes, but that's a "sunk cost". Doesn't fit into the equation.
It's already spent, whether I upgraded or not.

For those not familiar with the term: "sunk cost - cost already incurred which cannot be recovered regardless of future events"
