Re: Question/Idea about reselling iPhones on eBay - Carnos Jax - 06-30-2009 Yeah, I saw that one. I'm real curious how some of these guys get there stash. Whatever, I'm sure it's legit. But still, how're they able to get so much? Re: Question/Idea about reselling iPhones on eBay - richorlin - 06-30-2009 I upgraded from a 2G iPhone to a 32gb 3GS for $300 I then unlocked & jailbroke my 2G. Sold it on eBay for $240. I underpriced most sellers and sold it in one day. I wasn't greedy and limited sales to US, Canada, Australia, UK and Germany. Netted $210 so the new phone cost $90 out of pocket and I think the increase in the monthly fee is well worth it. Doesn't fit into the equation. It's already spent, whether I upgraded or not. For those not familiar with the term: "sunk cost - cost already incurred which cannot be recovered regardless of future events" |
