Forgetful is everything else. Go for the forgetful. In fact, call it "absentminded"- you sound more intelligent that way. Or acetylcholine deficient.

My old girlfriend's (may she rot in hell, that single mom welfare skank ho who doesn't know who her baby's daddy is) birthday was the day after mine. No way I could forget.
