The Canadian side is "nicer" but, the gas prices up there may bust your budget.

The exchange rate will somewhat compensate for the gas prices if you go Canada.

Next question: Which economy do you want to stimulate? I'm sure there are interesting things to see and do on both sides.

She's been stimulating the U. S. economy plenty. Trust me. Smile

Thanks all - I'll be stimulating Canada's economy for a few weeks. Don't worry, modelamac, it's only a few weeks. The good ole' US gets my $ the rest of the year. I had heard they have better campgrounds, and who could pass up male strippers!! Review to follow my visit. . .:booty:

I'd want to do one side one way and the other side the other way.
I've done both sides and would rather say each side is 'different'.

I'm heading down the coast when I'm done doing Maine. I'll have to do the New York side another year and will look forward to seeing it from a "different" perspective. Thanks billb!
