This is not a left or right thing, this is pure corruption within our government. I'd be very disappointed in a lot of Democrats if it was just pure partisan politics. Left or right, either you're for corruption or you're not. Yes, the Democrats have the most to lose in a full investigation because they do draw a lot of support from ACORN and its affiliates. If you lay with dogs, you get up with fleas. It will be the Democrats who will take the biggest hit because they have sought the support of these renegade organizations and have consistently voted to fund them with our dollars. Corruption is not confined to race so quit trying to play the race card. ACORN was founded by two white men. They devised the scheme that uses primarily poor black people and the working poor as pawns in their "get rich quick" plan. The low level staff workers at ACORN are cannon fodder for the upper echelon management. Expendable. If the videos were, as claimed by ACORN, false, why were the staffers fired so quickly? Where's loyalty and innocent until proven guilty? Ha! ACORN will never sue over this because it would mean subpoenas and having to open their books and being subject to forensic audits. They're having enough trouble with ongoing investigations as it is. If anything "sticks to Obama", then so be it. He can't deny his past connections with ACORN. He can't take back his books nor all the YouTube videos where he spoke about his early days of training ACORN employees or being ACORN's attorney. If DOJ and the appropriate Congressional investigating committees do their job, the ACORN scandal will make Watergate look like child's play. You listen to Fox way to much. You have been fed a spoon full of lies, and you just keep asking for more. Still think there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? Re: Meanwhile in San Bernadino - OWC Jamie - 09-16-2009 According to the Chemical Weapons Convention of 2009 they (Iraq officials) declared 500munitions in two bunkers of chemical weapons munitions of which no one has figured out how to approach yet. and 5 chemical weapons production facilities. Declared April,2009. Try to keep up Iraq, Libya, Russia and the United States have all declared thier WMDs. Re: Meanwhile in San Bernadino - swampy - 09-16-2009 $tevie..."Rather unfair to expect me to do my own research when you are cribbing from right wing blogs, wouldn't you say?" Life isn't fair. And even if I had given you the link source, I doubt it would have compeled you to click the link or not have some objection. I can tell you that it is not a copy/paste job because the info came from a chart in a video of the Glenn Beck show. I typed it in. Nevermind..."God forbid someone help poor people. You listen to Fox way to much. You have been fed a spoon full of lies, and you just keep asking for more." I watch Fox because it's the only place on tv that I can get "the rest of the story". I also watch CNN, and ABC when I want the brain washing version of a story. There are many ways to help the poor, both governmently and privately. But the Rathke brothers founding of ACORN was set up to exploit the poor in order to line their own pockets. Have you ever even considered that this is possible? I guess it is hard to belive there are villains in your unicorn world. billb..."According to the Chemical Weapons Convention of 2009 they (Iraq officials) declared 500munitions in two bunkers of chemical weapons munitions of which no one has figured out how to approach yet. and 5 chemical weapons production facilities." Of course our left leaning friends didn't hear about that on their liberal media outlets. Don't confuse them with facts. Re: Meanwhile in San Bernadino - Go To Top - 09-16-2009 Do you mean San Bernardino? Re: Meanwhile in San Bernadino - swampy - 09-16-2009 You got the point, GTT. Re: Meanwhile in San Bernadino - davester - 09-16-2009 swampy wrote: Now that's yer problem right there. Apparently you're unaware that "the rest of the story" is just that, a story (you know, like Peter Pan, Gulliver's Travels, etc). It's amusing to think that you believe that what you are receiving from Fox's "extra credit" material is information. |
