Re: Delta faucets on sales - AlphaDog - 10-10-2009 Mine is definitely not a temperature controlled model, but I don't have to change the mix between hot and cold each time it's turned on. There's a center dial that is used to control that, and the outer handle turns the water on and off. It looks like the one I linked works the same way, and I notice virtually no change in the water temperature when a toilet is flushed. I doubt the temperature controlled models had been invented yet when I got these over 15 years ago. ![]() Re: Delta faucets on sales - Ombligo - 10-10-2009 You can often find great deals on new plumbing fixtures on ebay. I bought three new Kohler faucets there for $30 each; new at Lowes they were $140 each. I also got a Hansgroth (sp?) shower panel for $300 that was nearly $1000 elsewhere. It ca take some hunting, but the deals are there. These are often pieces that were bought for a remodel job then the homeowner changed their mind. Re: Delta faucets on sales - davester - 10-10-2009 There may be a reason for that Kohler deal. We almost bought Kohler faucets, but after talking to four separate plumbers about them, discovered that they had a horrible reputation for reliability. It's a shame because they generally have very good styling and are less expensive than other upscale brands.
