We got a fantastic deal on it, but are gradually finding things that he didn't get to when construction was suddenly halted (i.e. no hole was cut for the dryer vent - we had to get that done on our own). I'll look around for other access panels. He had another house with the same plans 2 doors down that is less "finished" than ours. If I can get in to the house, I can look at that master bath and see where the shut offs are. However, in our previous houses, you had to turn off the master water supply to work on the bathtubs. Actually, I've never lived in a house where we had access to the tub/shower individual hot/cold shut-offs. You always had to turn off the master water valve to work on them. Might want to figure out where to put access in. most house construction I know offers no ready access to such things. Perhaps apartments do. Re: Moen faucet problem.. any plumbers in here? - goosegunner - 10-22-2009 Download the pdf file for the moen faucet you have. Shut down the Main water supply. adjust the control for tempering the water. gg Re: Moen faucet problem.. any plumbers in here? - OWC Jamie - 10-22-2009 I've only doen a mixer on a shower control and in that case the adjusting stop was under the escutcheon. Could the adjusting screw on yours be right under the faucet handle itself ? I'd take the handle off and the escutcheon and see what you've got. Edit: shouldn't have to even shut the water off. |
