Re: From the "Too much information" Department - Blankity Blank - 11-18-2009 More Goofy Kid Crap™. Pick something random, label it cool and freak out the squares, man. DAs, long sideburns, long hair, platform shoes, afros, skin heads, bell bottoms, leather jackets, greased back hair, flowers in your hair, goth, pants below your butt, skirts barely over your butt. Heck, just wearing jeans/dungarees/Levis period could mark you as a 'rebel' at one time. Baggy pants and boxers. If you're not seeing a kid's butt, shorts is shorts. Do you have a conniption when you see some jogger in t-shirt and shorts in front of you in line at the 7-11? Granted, the thong thing is probably a crack too far. It's true some of today's stuff originates in what seems like a more nefarious place than in day's past. Now it's some rapper mimicing the look of the losers in the county jail instead of Marlon Brando dressed up like an 'outlaw biker'. But then that's the whole point; you have to keep pushing that envelope. 'Ohhhh, look at me! You can see my boxers! I might be...dangerous!' Why would a young kid want to look like his ass is two ax handles wide? That's going to come soon enough. Enjoy skinny while you can. Re: From the "Too much information" Department - Acer - 11-18-2009 Next time, follow him to Wal Mart and take a picture Re: From the "Too much information" Department - Racer X - 11-18-2009 We spent an hour at that site last night, we laughed until we cried. Re: From the "Too much information" Department - freeradical - 11-18-2009 The police say that crooks who wear baggy low slung pants are easier to catch. "Any plumber could tell you droopy drawers tend to trip you up, but apparently a lot of crooks fail to listen. Loose-fitting, baggy jeans have been in fashion for years, but police officers say they can also help fight crime. "When they run, it makes our job easier," said Jim Matheny, a lieutenant with the Stamford, Conn., police department. The 41-year-old told ABC News he has no trouble chasing down suspects who wear low-hanging pants. "They go to take off and either they have to use their hands to hold their pants up or several times the pants just fell down around their knees and they had to stop running," Matheny said. "They spend all day thinking of ways to beat the police and then they go and put these pants on. It really handicaps them."" Re: From the "Too much information" Department - graylocks - 11-18-2009 it's called saggin and still popular at my son's school. i've pointed out to him that if saggin looks so cool, why are those guys walking around by themselves and not holding their girlfriend's hand. my son tries to sag and, of course, we argue. i told him it was a hill i was willing to die on and that if i catch him saggin, those beloved pants will be permanently relocated to an undisclosed location. Re: From the "Too much information" Department - Markintosh - 11-18-2009 Okay, well the baggy thing is one thing, but I would rather have that than the alternative. When I see middle school boys showing up in pants like this, 4 sizes too small with their entire butt exposed.....is that really any better? (You kids get off my lawn!) ![]() Re: From the "Too much information" Department - Speedy - 11-19-2009 Looks good on the fairer sex.
