ka jowct...try the distilled water trick. Your soda's only been on in the last few days right?

As for the guy rebuilding this particular keyboard...he did it right in front of me. Two plastic membranes...the "c" key was not working due to some dust it seems so he cleaned that out along with a thin layer of dust that had somehow got in. He replaced all the keys and used some from the other keyboard that weren't so dirty and it's working out fine right now.

I spilled milky tea, not soda, a very small amount. I guess it's worth a shot.

Do I pour the distilled water over the keyboard or dunk the keyboard, or what?
