Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - AAA - 12-16-2009 I think McDonald's is the most neglected POWERFUL brand out there. They should put the McD's brand/logo, etc. on tons of things and partnerships. They focus TOO MUCH on their restaurants and food, imo. Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - davester - 12-16-2009 AAA wrote: You made a couple of typos there. It's "restaurants" and "food". Who on earth would call a McDonald's outlet a restaurant? I'm also not sure why you think it's a powerful brand...is it because it makes me feel queasy when I see the golden arches? Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - geon - 12-16-2009 Hopefully this goes worldwide, because the only times I sit down at a McD is when I'm in a foreign country. Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - RgrF - 12-16-2009 Is it a wonder they partner with WalMart? WallyWorld and Mick D - a match made in hell Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - Mac-A-Matic - 12-16-2009 McDonald's are, regardless of whether you like them or not, indeed restaurants. Fast food restaurants, to be sure, but restaurants nonetheless. Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - mrbigstuff - 12-16-2009 is this going to be true on the interstates, as well? that is where I tend to need access to check traffic, road conditions, weather, (email), etc. Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - OWC Jamie - 12-16-2009 Mac-A-Matic wrote: Well that's not food for a superiority complex. McDonald's latest effort to get people to stay after they've eaten seems at odds to attempts in the last decade to shorten the amount of time retirees sit soaking up the heat and air having purchased the minimum fish sandwich and coffee. Re: Three cheers for McDonalds - RAMd®d - 12-16-2009 They buy a sandwich?! Not at the McDonald's' I go to. But most of them are gone by noon-ish. (I mean-- most of them have left by noon-ish.) Twenty or thirty years ago someone would laugh if you called a McDonald's a restaurant. |
