It finally hit 53 today, it was the first day above average in 3 weeks.

OT: Why can't we all just get along? Also if it's a topic you care
nothing about why respond?

If we hit 59 we would open the windows and doors to let in the heat. But it will be quite warm tomorrow (42F), coming within 5 degrees of the all time daily record.

Crap, I was going to wash my car today. Now it's raining.

Just got my highest gas bill . . . ever!

44 degrees and light rain, I can handle. Basement won't flood if it stays light or even normal.

I am afraid to get my gas bill as last months was already high. Atlanta gas light was on the news saying January 8 hit their all time high gas demand. You could see the glee and dollar signs in the reps face..

Just got highest electric bill ever $215, guess that's not too bad for a brick house built in '56
with no insulation in the exterior walls and only 6" overhead. Running a 13 SEER Heat Pump.
We have right at 2200 s.ft. and leave the thermostat on 70. I'm in the Piedmont area of NC.
