6.29 down and 365 up.

I don't remember, but I believe the power level should be -3 dB or higher.

The Motorola SB4200 is DOCSIS 1.1 (I did a net search for the modem). I just upgraded from a Toshiba DOCSIS 1.1 for a D-Link DOCSIS 2.0. The tech guy at Cox said the DOCSIS 2.0 would improve the performance over the DOCSIS 1.1.

Do you notice an improvement?

From some very brief things I read, it seemed like Comcast was ditching DOCSIS 2.0 for 3.0.

3.56 down and 356k up.
Comcast.
I think competition in your area may be a factor.
Helps to live in the ghetto.

Grimmee, how do you get 6-something?

Oops, I'm measuring on my laptop via 802g and forgot that iTunes radio is streaming on the main machine (and for all I know housemate is sucking bandwidth too).
Disregard previous ##s . . .

I have an even older 4100, and get almost 4 megs/second. it isn't your modem being old.

Poor quality wiring to and in the house can play a big part.
