Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

We already are. I think most drives 500GB+ are probably perpendicular.

I just wanted an excuse to post the video.

I think it's just you.

I'm amazed at the progression HD capacity has made from 500G to now.

The first HD expansion I bought was for my PowerBook 160; I went from 40 MB to 256 MB. I remember thinking to myself that I would never fill that space up.

it's now very difficult expensive to buy a new 750 GB drive.

we have had to order re-certified drives for a server RAID because the client is not ready to replace all of their drives yet.

edit:
hmmm. found these at newegg, for only $60.

not sure if it's as good for a 4-drive RAID NAS...

Just bought the Seagate 3TB external for $200 from ChumpUSA. I could've gotten 4TB worth of the sweet-spot drives for the same price, but I wouldve needed 2 USB cases for them and extra desk space.

A simple JBOD dual bay enclosure (either big or individual) would have solved your dilemma.

Nobody needs more than 20 MBs.
