Thanks for the tip! It works but is still a nuisance in comparison to having the cursor just go to my desired location. Each time I've used it and moved the cursor, the phone ask me if I want to select/copy/past/etc instead of just letting making my chance and move the cursor again. Likely, this is still the best implementation for moving the cursor but it definitely can be improved further.
