The Colonel's own people led the charge that took him down, whereas the Iraqui people had nothing to do with the demise of Saddam.
Plotting to kill W's daddy was what done him in.

Re-read. Had Saddam had the bomb he'd be sitting pretty still.

I wish TV wouldn't show the footage of him being shoved around before his death. That and the corpse. It's just gross rubbernecking. Also I don't wish to see it again, so now I have to be on the lookout all the time.
