We have a free "new music Monday" series at our beautiful new bandshell downtown.
Most of the music is not new-- the main criteria seems to be "rock bands some people have heard of but that aren't big enough to be crowd control problems."
One lineup was The Head and The Heart with Iron and Wine.
Unfortunately, both bands had breakthrough somgs that got airplay between the time they were signed and the concert. It was a disaster, and they had to come up with a whole bunch of new crowd control protocols for subsequent shows (they hand't had or needed head counts or hand stamping prior).

I must be getting old - only recognized Black Sabbath and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Thank god for Classic Rock stations :-)
