Re: How about that Ken Rockwell - decay - 10-25-2012 i didn't say it did. i'm saying i don't think we're being told the whole truth. sins of omission. that's all. Re: How about that Ken Rockwell - Uncle Wig - 10-25-2012 I'm saying you have no reasonable basis on which to base your belief that truth is being withheld. It's like seeing a strange photo, not understanding how the photo could have been taken, and therefore assuming it's Photoshopped. "911 Truth" is that, writ large. People don't understand how a building can collapse from fire, so, even when presented with credible evidence and plausible explanation, they choose to assume there are "hidden facts." There must be! People don't understand how NASA could have flown men to the moon in 1969, therefore it's a hoax. As long as hoax and conspiracy theories are way more entertaining for some people, for a longer period of time, than understanding what really happened we'll never hear the end of this kind of nonsense. Re: How about that Ken Rockwell - Dennis S - 10-25-2012 Why would someone post personal beliefs so divisive that they could likely antagonize a large portion of his customers? There's a huge downside and almost no upside. I don't get it. Re: How about that Ken Rockwell - Billybob - 10-25-2012 Dennis S wrote: Because KR is the shock jock of internet photography bloggers. A conspiracy on the scale of 9-11, would easily take hundreds of people working together, in concert, in secret, to pull off. And once you've pulled it off, the hard part begins - everyone needs to keep quiet about it. That's the impossible part. |
