After Tuesday he'll withdraw to AS and once again think he's a really big shit. Re: Vote for revenge - max - 11-04-2012 Modesty is a false virtue..... Re: Vote for revenge - swampy - 11-04-2012 Winners don't use the word revenge. That is a word for losers. Re: Vote for revenge - $tevie - 11-04-2012 Anyone with an IQ over room temperature knows what the President was saying. You are being manipulated by people who ALSO know what he meant but write drivel for folks like you who can't figure it out Re: Vote for revenge - max - 11-04-2012 $tevie wrote: Unlike you, who gets her talking points and marching orders directly from your local Democratic clavern... Re: Vote for revenge - swampy - 11-04-2012 The president is a master orator. He knew exactly what he was saying. He even told us, "words matter". And why is it that for the past four years when he speaks, five people from his team have to come behind him and explain what he "really" meant? They are our best chance of understanding what someone else means, unless we are making love or holding a hurt child, in which cases words mean far less. But for the most part, we use words to explain ourselves. Some of us are so good at using them that we are able to take the words of someone else and make it sound like that person meant something else by what they said than what was actually meant. Do you think it's possible that someone took President Obama's words and made it sound like he meant something different by them than what he meant? This has happened before hasn't it? 'History' and 'doomed' and 'repetition' are all words that seem to mean something right now! The words were clear. Your intentional obfuscation does not change them nor their meaning. |
