Using a photo as an impression for a painting is acceptable if you change it enough to make it unique to your vision.

Simply making a bad copy of a photo is plagiarism and wrong.

put me down as not caring that he pulled up some google images and painted them. but they are leading contenders for the MOBA, no doubt.
