Re: RYF - New 12" Retina MacBook 8GB/256GB $999 - RAMd®d - 02-16-2016 Apple added a couple ports to make the MBA really useful. I'm hoping they will do the same with the MB, but I admit I may be wrong. While I've yet to need a second port or an adapter of any kind, I admit it might be nice to have another port to preclude an adapter most of the time. Being one who favors a graceful blend of style and substance, I though one USB Type A (?) port might be nice, until I saw: ![]() http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Type-C-Smartphones-Tablets-SDDDC-032G-G46/dp/B00V62XBY8 I'd be happy with one USB-C port on either side. Here's hoping that SanDisk makes a bigger, faster version of that thumb drive. I could run DiskWarrior 5 quite handily with the above drive, but bigger is always better. The Amazon reviews of the drive aren't good. - RAMd®d - 02-16-2016 Apparently it's a 32G micro-SD card and reader in thumb drive clothing, with very slow and hot performance. One reviewer was able to pull the card out of the reader and replace it with a 128G card. But it's a start.
