I can just imagine how the snotty 1st class passengers might have reacted if the parent decided to change the baby at their seats instead of in the bathroom.

I saw a flight attendant once tell a parent that they must change their baby's diaper in the bathroom because doing it in their seat was a public health hazard. I mean I guess it could be, if you spread feces everywhere, but who would do that in the seat that they are actively sitting in?

That said, I don't fly Delta because of their bad service.

I'm rather tired of Delta as well, but who's better? I've had a couple of nice recent experiences with SWA, but I have to drive nearly 2 hrs to get to an airport they fly from.

So, again, who's better?
It doesn't fly everywhere, but Alaska is one.

Mike,

Trust me when I say changing a baby's diaper in an airplane bathroom is a challenge. At least JetBlue has a built-in changing table. It's usable at best. No strap. No padding. Nothing to keep a portable changing pad from slipping off it. I'd go as far to say that it wasn't designed with safety in mind. Usable, though, if you are a diligent and careful parent. If that had been unavailable or what was provided was flat-out unsafe, then I would have done whatever I had to do to get the baby changed. If that was at my seat, so be it. The safety of my daughter comes before everyone else.
