no but i'm pretty sure if something happened to me my son would come on and let y'all know. he's aware how much time and energy i've spent here over the years. in fact, just yesterday he asked me about jimmypoo and microchip13.

where is microchip, btw?

Hi everyone,

Only one or two members know my real name and have my basic contact information. I've spoken to a couple of members over the phone, too. That's about as far as I'm ready to go for now. However, I can assure you that if anything were to happen to me, my wife would absolutely get in touch with you. I made sure she has the appropriate access and knows who to contact before posting anything into the forum itself.

I was wondering the same thing just the other day. Despite his fascination with what I consider to be the ugliest generation of Nissan Z-cars (ah youth... my first car crush was a purple '66 Pontiac Bonneville), he had the makings of a true car guy and I'm always happy to see more of those/us around.

I had lunch with him several years ago when the company he had been working for in college in Colorado got bought by a larger company and relocated to the SF Bay Area. His plan at that time was to take a year off from college and work for them in the Bay Area. I assume / hope that he did go back and complete college and is now working somewhere in the tech industry.

Here's the thread he posted back then about it.

I am working up to completing my "what you need to know" papers and contacting the forum is one thing that I will include ... when I get around to it.

Really do need to get around to it!

Print and cut out.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
