But “looking bad” and “everyone” would concur with that? No way! Millions would applaud and praise the reporter for their pluck and dedication to the truth. Re: Trump in total fantasyland- Long Verbatim Quote from Fox/Hannity spiel - Blankity Blank - 03-06-2020 And yet people blunder around yammering about how this democratic candidate or that candidate is ‘just as bad as Trump’. Talk about fantasyland. Re: Trump in total fantasyland- Long Verbatim Quote from Fox/Hannity spiel - RgrF - 03-06-2020 Blankity Blank wrote: I doubt that really exists. Whether they’re ‘serious’ or not, you can’t unpiss in the punch bowl. You spend months howling about how ‘that one’ is some kind of enemy of the people, or ‘this one’ is just a traitorous corporate puppet, or just the good old standby “Nobody will vote for THEM”, you create a drumbeat, people are listening. You sell wolf tickets about staying home, or gawd forbid, rage voting for Trump, even if on the day you tuck your tail between your legs and do what needs to be done to drain the sewer, how many people have you put off? How many people, hearing the same drone coming from every direction, did you help to just throw up their hands and decide ‘why bother?’? But yeah, let’s pretend it’s all harmless. The MAGA crowd are the zealots, right? Re: Trump in total fantasyland- Long Verbatim Quote from Fox/Hannity spiel - RgrF - 03-06-2020 The MEGA crowd is zealotacious beyond any sense of reason, they simply believe. What exactly it is they actually still believe versus what they once held near and dear as a belief would make one hellatious doctoral thesis. They're very much like the true believers Reagan inspired. If the policies he followed fell short or procedures used turned out to be illegal, well that wasn't his fault. It's not a coincidence that both Reagan and Trump are products of the entertainment industry. There's an adage that you never again get to make a first impression, in today's world you never get to erase an image driven home week after week after week after week. If all voters had to write in their candidate of choice on a blank ballot, I have little doubt one of the Simpsons would be elected. Re: Trump in total fantasyland- Long Verbatim Quote from Fox/Hannity spiel - RgrF - 03-06-2020 PS: zealotacious, while not an actual verb, adverb or anything else that exists in our current lexicon - should!
