Recent events have proven the US Constitution is not in very good shape.
Heck, I'd venture to say that the USS Constitution (Old Raymond Burr/Blair Underwood) is in better shape after all these years.
Lately, the US Constitution has been made to look more like my Morning Constitutional Duty than the Bastion of Freedom it's supposed to be...

To be fair, it was DELIBERATELY and WITH MALICE pushed closer to its limits by the previous POTUS and his band of merry troublemakers than it ever had been before, with the possible exception of the Civil War - and it passed the test. I think that says a lot about its robustness.
But, yes, some weaknesses were exposed that may need to be shored up.
