We can't disenfranchise an entire group of people because a few will exploit a loophole. Then some jerk like the guy in the OP will do it on purpose just to disenfranchise the whole group.

Having a transgender person compete in a third "open" class of athletics doesn't disenfranchise a whole entire group of people. But it does protect the progress made in women's sports. Trans rights aren't more important than women's rights.

As far as the op, there need to be definitions of special groups. You can't just let people decide what they are.

Case in point; Rachel Dolezal

"...former National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) chapter president... known for presenting herself and identifying as a black woman despite being born to white parents. In addition to claiming black ancestry, she also claimed Native American descent."

"In 2015, Dolezal acknowledged that she was "born white to white parents," but maintained that she self-identified as black."

Rachel wasn't a white politician saying it for the Fox News views, she gave it 100%, so much so that it took some sluething to sort out that she was actually white. Maybe if more people were "allowed" to (sincerely, not cynically) identify as a race they were not born into, we could break down the barriers that we use to separate ourselves into "us" and "other"

Navin, I'd love you if you were the color of a Baboon's Ass.
