Yah, betcha that's a real photo. I was on that green for a few Fourth of July exhibits. One of them had the people count at over 250,000.

You have to remember that St. Louis and Kansas City are NOT Missouri. They are the urban areas at either side of the state, and the rest of the state is classically rural.

Say what you like, but the Democratic party is typically the party of the urban dweller, and the Republican party is typically the party of the country / small town folk.

Omaba wouldn't get too many people if he stopped to give a talk in Grover.
