How about 30 Days of Night, The Exorcist, The Ring (kinda horror mystery combined), Pulse, 1408 was pretty good, Identity was a good thriller, 13 Ghosts, Ghost Ship, I Am Legend. But the scariest movie I ever saw was Prince Of Darkness. Especially the part when they break the mirror and the guy disappears in darkness as he's reaching for the mirror to escape. I had to immediately turn on all the lights in my house. I never watched the movie again. Because of that, it tends to scar people more deeply than the typical gore-flick. Otherwise skeptical adults have been known to have nightmares from it. |
