Re: The guy who captured Sadam - Gutenberg - 12-12-2008

Remember, 'fil? While walking through the San Francisco airport wearing civilian clothes, Swamp Thing's husband was spat upon by clairvoyant hippies.

Argument from authority.

Sigh... Gutenberg and Greg have forced me to push the ignore button. I'm just tired of their constant badgering, personal attacks, snide remarks, and general B.S.

Here's how they like to treat women they disagree with.

I'm trying to figure whether claiming that someone's position is an argument from authority is badgering, personal, snide, or B.S. Gutenberg, perhaps you can help?

Here's a Wikipedia article on the topic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Appeal_to_authority

Edit: I bet that LiveLeak video is of me engaging women on the merits of their arguments.

Hey Greg - have fun, write what you want about Swamptroll, she won't see it! Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll block me too. :woot:

Gee, MacGurl, after I posted a nice suggestion for your mother in the mouse thread?

Re: The guy who captured Sadam - Greg the dogsitter - 12-12-2008

Swampy, my apologies for any offense.

However, it's still an argument from authority. One's military experience does not affect the validity of one's argument.

You're confusing MacGurl with DaviDC.

DavidC and I don't share mothers, I'm sorry.
