Ana Lucia is a fictional character on a television show, or don't you get that? FWIW, Ana Lucia really got on my nerves, too. She had a very abrasive, never a nice word about anything, attitude that got old very quickly. Some of the other characters have unique/quirky/pissy personalities, but they work through it or have other redeeming/interesting qualities. Ana Lucia, on the other hand, was a one trick pony with nothing but a bad attitude. Her back-story showed how she'd suffered in the past from her bad attitude and her hot-headedness. I thought it begged the interesting question of whether she could change and grow, or was just stuck. It's not like we ever had to watch an entire season of Anna Lucia.
