Re: Anyone here shop at Aldi? - sunfalcon - 10-09-2009 They do take debit cards here in Ohio. Great prices! I like them and Save-A-Lot. Re: Anyone here shop at Aldi? - D. Re: Anyone here shop at Aldi? - RgrF - 10-09-2009 If you shop Trader Joes, you shop Aldi. Re: Anyone here shop at Aldi? - Grateful11 - 10-09-2009 We shop Aldi's a lot. There are some things that are just not good there, I don't eat Mayonnaise but my wife says it's not good. Their garden peas are as good LeSeur at 1/4 the price. Their Raisin Bran can't be beat, neither can their Frosty Mini Wheats. Their bagged salad is very good. We normally buy all our seasonal hams and turkeys there. I like their packaged deli sliced meats and cheeses. Their bread doesn't keep for very long for some reason except their Cinammon Raisin bread. We've never had a problem with their fresh ground beef or the pork chops. I like their English Muffins as good as Thomas's. I'm not crazy about their soups. Their Fit n' Active yogurt and low calorie drinks are very good. Their produce is hit and miss, sometimes the banana's are too green to ripen no matter what you try and other times their just right. Not long ago they had fresh NC Blueberry's for $1/pint people buying them by the case. BTW: Our Save-a-lot has almost completely a Mexican specialty store and I don't have anything against Mexicans but the store is dirty, stinks and is unorganized. OT: I wish I could get a decent nights sleep since my surgery.
