I'm using the symantic endpoint protection as well. I've got Windows 7, IE 8, and symantic. My kids have restricted accounts and so far we've been ok.
Many people I know have been infected with the AntiVirus 2009, etc and those are a pain to get off, but it can be done. Mostly they were infected b/c they were using IE 7 and did not have the proper windows updates installed.

Our IT department has the best solution. They remove the computers and don't return them. I'm serious :villagers:
