Even if it is a 2012 server with two internal SSD's in RAID 0, it will be about 50% bus saturation from the external to the internal. In that scenario, an iTrashcan with multiple TC controllers would be much better suited for utilizing an array that fast (assuming the array does maintain the full speed at more than 25% full).

...and you would have been disappointed. Maybe somebody’s come up with some new technology since I bought the SSD, but last I checked you could not boot an iMac from USB3 via Thunderbolt.
