He's on bail until his sentencing hearing in 60-90 days. The judge will decide after sentencing whether he will await his appeals in a cell or at home. It is not decided.

I know a good number of folks who do sex work, and they would all think you crazy to let some john drug you and then do whatever he wants.
You can't just pay people to be violable (and remain a good person).

No, I don't think so. This was rape, not sex. Rape is predatory and revolves around the power the rapist has over his victims. Cosby probably had no interest in hookers since they didn't provide the power kick that he was after.
